We're equally selective when it comes to our ales and spirits.

Not only do we serve our own! Bosun's Bitter which has impeccable environmental credentials: as it is brewed in an old stone building immediately behind the hotel, its carbon footprint is non-existent! Most importantly, it is a simply excellent cask conditioned beer, acclaimed by real ale fans and loved by our regulars, we also have beer from the Island's largest brewery, Okells and we stock over 100 single malt whiskies.

Football and rugby players love to watch the Big Match on our widescreen TV and we're also popular with darts players. We've always welcomed clubs and societies and one in particular, the particular, the Roundbellies golf society, has made the Shore their permanent meeting place!
